Halloween Party at Church

You had a really great time at the party. Until they showed "Thriller" on the projector screen. Then you became completely terrified, and ran out of the room screaming.

Today is Halloween and I came to your school for your class party, which I was in charge of. We played "pass the witches broomstick", "tootie ta", and "wrap the mummy". It was so fun.

You asked if it was true that some families don't have dads. I said, yes, sometimes moms and dads live apart for a variety of reasons. I was preparing to give you the death, divorce, war speech, and I heard you say like this was old news "ya, sometimes they live in Florida"
I said "what?".
You replied "sometimes dads don't live with the kid, they live in Florida". You are so funny. Generalizing. :)
