... One Year Ago Today, your feet were the size of the tip of my thumb. You had just started sleeping through the night. One year ago today, I thought that I could never feel any more love than I did at that moment. I did not know how every time you did something new, how proud I would be and how much I would love you.
One year ago today, I had no idea that I would comb your hair every night in just such a way that it curls up at your ears and makes you look like a little elf.
One year ago today, I had no idea that I would stop the car at the end of the street, just to make sure I had packed your favorite lamb and pink bunny toys.
One year ago today, we were starting to become three people into what used to be two. Today, we are a family.
One year ago today, you made me a mom!
I cannot wait to see you through another amazing year.
