Merry Christmas, Ruby!!

Dear Ruby,
This year was really fun for me to watch you on Christmas Eve.  You really understood the idea of Santa coming to our house and bringing you presents and take everything in wholeheartedly.  You have such a good kind heart and are such a sweet sister for Charlotte.  You made Christmas so magical this year!

Unfortunately you also came down with the flu on Dec 22nd.  Poor baby!  There was nothing we could do but comfort you and hope you got better in time for Christmas.  Christmas morning was a  little rough for you, you were still feeling a little under the weather but seemed to feel good enough to enjoy it once you felt a little better.

It's Christmastime!!  I am having some behavioral issues with you lately- backtalking, saying no, dragging your feet when I ask you to do things.. ahh.  BUT luckily those times are fewer than the times you are your lovely, imaginative playful sweet self.

Well last week, we went to Portrait Innovations.  That did NOT go well.  So today, we tried again and although you two were less than cooperative with the photographer, I did get one good picture.

You have SO much energy. You are constantly running, singing, jumping, and pretending to be damsel in distress, teacher, princess, mommy, baby, dog... I love to watch your imagination at work and do all I can to foster creative outlets for you.  Sometimes when I look at you, I can't believe what a big girl you are and how much you've grown.  Other times, I look at you and you still are such a tiny little wonder, and have so much yet to learn.
