Update

The camera is having a vacation at Kathy Coates' house, so I will give you a text only update.  For your first birthday party, we had a Sesame Street theme.  Last year, for your second birthday, we had a Dora the Explorer theme.  This year is going to top them both- a mermaid birthday party.  I have been working hard making decorations and planning games for your special day.

This past weekend, we took our first trip consisting of just me and you since Charlotte was born.  It was nice to have some time with just you.  I'll have to do the same with Charlotte some time soon.  We visited Grandma and Grandpa Hatch and your Uncle Cliff was there too.  We were having a little summertime cleaning and while we cleaned, you watched Toy Story and played in the pool.

On Sunday, the girls wentto see Toy Story 3.. and you made it through about 2/3 of it before you got tired and wanted to go home.  I thought it was so sweet b/c you were very concerned about where Baby Charlotte was, saying you "missed her".

We as a family are going through some changes right now.  You are having a great time with Daddy during the day, who takes you on walks adn all kindsof adventures.  While I really like where I am now, I am trying to find something new also, but am still thinking about staying where I am and just making it more permanent by learning more about the job I already do, crosstraining in some other areas.  You'll learn about how many friends you make where you work when you get bigger.

My Bertday Pawdy

You talk everyday about  what you are going to do and wear to your mermaid birthday party.

You have also developed two new and particularly cute sayings.  When you have an idea and someone tells you no, but offers you another idea, you say "o'right."  You also look around and say "Let's see here..." which is somethingI must say more than I thought I did..  and you also "No thank you,"  which is hard to argue withj
