Favorite Books

Every night we read Nighty-Nite after your bath. Your routine is that I feed you every meal except dinner, which you merrily feed yourself, creating a huge mess (to Spiegel's delight). I then take you upstaits to your favorite part of the day- YOUR BATH! I wash you, then you play in the tub. We dry you off, put you in a new diaper and a comfy set of pajamas. We read "NightyNite", and then you go into your crib and (hopefully) off to sleep.

The books that are our favorites during the day right now are "Coco Counts" by Sloane Tanen and anything with pictures of babies.

Where Did Ruby Go?

Well Miss Ruby, you are on the move. All this time I've been waiting for you to start crawling and now, it's hard to keep up with you! You are into everything.

You started withthe army crawl, and then, not even three days later, you started crawling on your hands and knees. You are a certified full time job, as you could tell by the laundry pile in the utility room.

You continue to call everything "Dah" except for Dad which you emphatically state "Dah-dud". You say "Mamamama" when you are mad or overtired or want something you cannot have.

You are really thinning out and your little ringlet legs are getting long and lean. Your brown locks of hair are turning a dark golden blonde and your eyes are as clear blue as your daddy's.
